Her PhD thesis assessed the economic impact of the NYDA grant funding in the Eastern Cape, using cost benefit analysis (CBA) and least absolute deviation (LAD) regression. She also holds an MCom (Economics), BCom Honours (Economics), and BCom (Accounting and Economics). Dr Fotoyi has about nine years’ experience in the field of economics working in government, research and academia.
